Hullo, Cutter, I'm assuming that the folks at Greymalkin will set up a section of these forums devoted to Broken Rooms when the time is right, similar to the section devoted to Desolation. Looking forward to that myself.

Hullo, 18Puppies, It's a modern conspiracy horror rpg about the Nearside, a network of 13 doomed parallel worlds. It uses a new d12 system developed by Stephen Herron and the folks at Greymalkin called the Momentum system. That's all I really know about it. Other than the fact that I'm rather looking forward to it.

From what I have heard about it (and that's not much really) I am looking forward to seeing how the Momentum system works as well as taking a look at the parallel worlds. I enjoy horroresque RPGs, being a big fan of World of Darkness, it's always good to see other settings and see their take on it. With so many parallel worlds, the elements in each can be frighteningly similar or terrifyingly disparate. Really looking forward to this one.

Hello,
Yes, we'll be opening a section on Broken Rooms here as it gets closer to launch. We're making slow but steady progress.

First time here in a while and something extremely shiny appears! Broken Rooms sounds very interesting indeed, what with Fringe, Alcatraz and the similar shows abounding at the moment.

Re: Is this the right place for discussion of Broken Rooms...
We've actually just completed writing Broken Rooms and should have some lovely, 460 page hardback books on sale at Gen Con in a few weeks.
It took us a long while to get everything just right, but I'm very pleased with the results. We have a proof copy from the printer already and it looks amazing.
Broken Rooms is very different from Desolation, but you'll feel very much at home with how the game's "magic system" works if you've played Desolation before.
Jamie and I are hoping to update the main site with information on the game, character sheets, sample art, etc etc. Perhaps we'll also post some fiction that didn't make it into the final book. Even at 460 pages, we had to leave a lot out.

We've updated our forum software and added a Broken Rooms section. Check it out. It's right below the Desolation category on the forum home page.
