Ordered the Book
Hey, Just ordered the Survivor's Kit from your store. I really look forward to this. I've always been a big End of the World/survival game fan, but my group doesn't really go for non-fantasy. So hopefully my group will go for this. A few did like the Ubiquity system. I hope this is the ticket. Thanks Again for your hard work

Re: Ordered the Book
Thanks for ordering, and I hope you enjoy the book, dice and style chips! For many groups, fantasy is a tough sell - I've always been fortunate enough to enjoy a wide variety of genres, including science fiction (I've long loved Traveller!) to modern horror, but ultimately, fantasy is what I and many of us always come back to.
Hopefully, a mixture of the Ubiquity system and the post-apocalyptic flavor of Desolation will be just what your players need. We all really look forward to hearing how you get on!

Re: Ordered the Book
I folded and purchased the Survivor's Kit as well!
I'll be making a Social Group for Desolation on RPG.net, so anyone who has an account there is free to join up!
EDIT: Wow, I'm totally stoked to grok this book. Woo hoo!

Re: Ordered the Book
WOOT!! My book came in saturday while playing DnD, but i didn't check the mailbox till Sunday when leaving to go play another game at 1:30pm. So now i can sit down and start reading at 9pm. The book looks great after a small glance through and reading a few pages. The Style chips are fantastic. Off to read.

GAH! PayPal is ANNOYING!
Stupid funds transfer taking days...
EDIT: OK, nevermind... it's just annoying in a whole different way than I thought... SHEESH.
Ahem... move along. Nothing to see here but a guy who has no idea how to use PayPal.

Hullo, Ars, I take it that you hadn't noticed there already is a Yahoo group devoted to DESOLATION, desolation_rpg, that I had started some time ago. Hasn't had any real traffic to speak of as yet. The link is: http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/desolation_rpg/

How long does it typically take to ship the book?

If you believe the folks at the Post Office, yours should arrive Saturday.

You, sir, are a gentleman and a scholar. That's one heck of a fast turn-around.

Re: Ordered the Book
I'm dying over here! I wish I'd have ordered the book earlier in the week so I could have gotten it before Labor Day. Nothing's worse than waiting for a brand-spanking-new book
