This guy is still in development, haven't had a lot of time to game or work on it for that matter. I'll give what I've got though. This is meant to be an NPC and a guide as to how I would like my players to build their character (try to give a sense of reality through mundane jobs, etc...), though I would gladly play him if an opportunity arose.

Motivation: Though the chance of his wife and daughter surviving the Night of Fire are slim, his only real concern is getting back to them.

Personality: Since the Night, stress has aged him well beyond his years. The dirt and grime from not thinking to bathe thickly coat his tatered clothing. Though his out look on life has turned for the worst, he will not turn away those who need help - he never has.

History: Jakob has spent most his life as a Thatcher, more accurately a Slate Thatcher. Nearly 17 months before the Night of Fire, Jakob was sent to Sal Kallar to lead a crew working on a large mannor, leaving his wife Jonessa and daughter Kiona in Delonne (his home city). Work was nearly three quarters complete when the sky bled fire, nearly on his way home... Kiona would have turned three that day.

Searching through the rubble, Jakob only found a few survivors - luck if you as some of them. Food was tight with the lack of those capable to hunt, the cold was coming on fast.
