Spell Name: Move Object Tradition: Sorcery Base Difficulty: Easy (1) Modifiers: None Final Difficulty: Easy (1) Duration: Several Moments Resistance: Potency The caster can gently move an object with the power of her mind. When casting this spell, both the caster’s hand and the targeted object are surrounded by a glowing nimbus of Weave energy. This freestanding object (or related small objects such as a pile of nails) must be within 25 feet of the caster and weigh less than 10 pounds. The caster can cause the object to float slowly in a single direction within the radius of the spell. This includes pulling objects to her hand, moving it away, lifting it up, etc. When the spell’s duration ends, the item drops to the ground normally if suspended. Rather than move the object from one place to another, the caster can also perform a simple action to the object. This must be something that could be done by someone with a Strength of 1. Some examples include turning a doorknob, knocking something over or pulling a rope. Living things can resist the spell by making a Strength roll against the Spell Potency. Extra Successes: 1: Hide glow 1: Move object weighing up to 250 pounds 1: Move object in complicated manner 1: Move object quick enough to cause damage 2: Move objects weighing up to 250 pounds 2: Move multiple objects in a coordinated fashion |
