Hullo, Matt,

That is one *sweeeeeeeeeeeeet* character, Matt.

Love the character name as well. Any chance of seeing some of the spells that you came up with for him? (Although perhaps that should go into the forum section on new spells and magic and all.

Hmm, come to think of it, we should figure out how to transfer this character to the appropriate folder, or perhaps I'll just post a link to him there.

He was pretty fun to play - I think it was the first mongrel character we've tried out with the small racial trait.

During the game, I don't believe he ever used (or was called) by a name. He was just 'spider boy' or something equally demeaning. I was wondering if it was too cheesy to rearrange arachnids to create a name, but I think it turned out ok.

As for spells - during the course of the game I think I:
- Webbed up someone (base diff 2; pot vs. agi)
- talked w/ a spider (base diff 2)
- gave myself wall-crawling (base diff 3)

During a fight I know I was contemplating
- making my bite poisonous/growing mandibles
- increasing my agility
- growing extra arms to help me hold someone
- increasing my climb skill

For a personality - I seem to recall really liking carpeting and tapestries (anything woven) and he had a penchant for drinking out of people or juices out of fruits.

That surprises me a bit. One of the things I've always noticed about the Ubiquity system is that smaller characters have a nice advantage in some ways, especially with the bonus to Defense and all.

I saw that the character name was an anagram of "Arachnid", and thought that was cute. Yeah, "spider boy" was definitely demeaning. :)

All pretty cool, as far as I'm concerned. And pretty much expected, I would guess. Just a creepy character overall, methinks.:)

Those all would have been pretty cool, especially the extra arms bit for sure.

Oh, I love this character, Matt. And such a people person, too. :)

Thanks for sharing. :)
