Not entirely apropos, although I think Kane as a character could work in the world of Desolation:

The trailer looked very cool... thanks for posting the link. I've read good things about the movie.

I've never actually ready the Solomon Kane books (or the RPG - also disctributed by Studio2). Has anyone else read the original stories? Are they worth checking out?

Thanks for posting the link, Nestor, much appreciated. :) I'm looking forward to the movie quite a bit.

I do think that Kane would work well in DESOLATION, wth some tweaks of course.

You've never read the Solomon Kane stories and books? ::surprised look::

I would definitely recommend that you read some of the original stories, Matt, as they can provide all kinds of inspiration for stuff. They're not to everyone's taste, obviously, but that said they offer a lot of good inspiration for DESOLATION stuff I think.

If it helps, the Solomon Kane stories are available to read for free at Project Gutenberg.

Reading stuff at Project Gutenberg *never* hurts, and always helps! :)
